It's a Pirate's Life for me #disneyland

Normally today would have the second installment of the letter of the week, but I have an early(ish) shift and don't have time to sort through pictures.    If you happen to be at Disneyland today for the Pirates of Caribbean premiere, come say "hi!"    I'm one of the pirates helping guests over by New Orleans Square today.   I'd love to meet you and possibly get a picture of some of you for a future blog.

Disney Themed Photo - Halloween #disneyland

It's Halloween time at the Disney resorts, so of course the theme this week is "Halloween."

It's easy to play along....just post your favorite Disney Halloween picture on your blog and then put a link to it in the comment section below.   You can do as many posts as you want and intepret "Halloween" however you want....have fun with it!

Hurry baaaaack.......

Yesterday's speed trip to Disneyland to test the new camera involved trying it out on a "dark" ride.  Ride of choice?  The Haunted Mansion...chosen because of a wait time of less than 5 minutes vs the hour plus at Pirates.   Enjoy!

Only in Disneyland is the room actually an elevator.  The room slowly lowers to give the illusion that the room itself is getting longer.  This elevator was necessary to lower the guests below the level of the park-circling railroad at Disneyland. The actual ride building of this attraction is located outside of the berm surrounding the park.

Gotta say that I'm loving the new camera.
