After being diagnosed as obese in 2009, I began making small changes in my life...drinking more water and exercising regularly. After participating in the Disneyland 5K a couple of years ago, I decided that, some day, I wanted to completed a half marathon. Well...that day was January 20, 2013, when I joined friends and family (and several thousand amazing Disney runners) at the Tinker Bell Half Marathon.
I was excited and a little fearful that my knee wouldn't hold out but it turned out to be an amazing morning! It was worth every minute of training and pain.....I can't wait for the next one!
