Twirling with Joy

It's time for the Thursday Disney blog hop over at Babes in Disneyland....this week's theme is joy!   I'm leaving for work before the official post is up but I'll be hopping over there later to link up and visit all the fun blogs.   You should go now...

Here's a picture that I snapped on my way out of the park a few days ago....these kids are having a blast Twirling with Alice and the Mad Hatter.  Character interactions are always a great source of joy...for those involved and those watching.

The Main Street vehicle drivers are incredibly patient as they deal with crowds.  On this morning, the cast member on the far right was having a horrible time trying to clear the street.  There were people and strollers everywhere and no one was making much effort to move...except for the one mom who swept up her child like he was about to be trampled.

  I love that the child is making sure not to lose his ears.

I'm not sure why more folks don't take advantage of the Main Street USA transit.  Unless I'm shopping, I always ride instead of walking.   It's a nice rest and you don't have to avoid the crazy stroller/electric vehicle drivers.

Main Street Christmas #disneyland

Such a beautiful, uncrowded day at the parks yesterday.   The kind of day when you could stand in the middle of Main Street and take pictures without being run over by crazed parents pushing strollers.....so that's what we did. 

Disney Themed Photography - Pumpkins #disneyland

Remember when carving your Jack-o'-Lantern meant grabbing a bunch of newspaper, a semi-sharp knife and hacking triangles into the freshly cleaned out pumpkin?  It's changed a lot in the past few years and no one has mastered it like the folks at Disney. 

So, in complete awe of their artwork, this week's Disney Themed Photography topic is "pumpkins."   It's incredibly easy to play along--just post a "pumpkin" related picture on your blog and then jump back over here and leave a link to it in the comment section.  You can play as many times during the week as you like...we love looking at pics!
